Pricing questions
What does 'locked for 12 months' mean?
Founding 25 customers pay US$109 a month for their first 12 months, even if the list price (US$179) applies to new customers. After 12 months you'd move to the price at the time, and we'd tell you at least 30 days before.
How does the 30-day money-back guarantee work?
If Towntide Voice isn't worth it in your first 30 days, ask for a refund and we'll refund your first month in full. No forms to fill in.
What happens if I go over my included minutes?
Every call is still answered. Extra minutes are billed per minute, but never more than your overage spend cap (US$40 a month by default; change or remove it any time). Calls past the cap are answered free. We email you at 80% and 100%. Founding 25 and Standard include 300 minutes at US$0.22/min over (placeholders until launch); Pro includes 1,000 minutes at US$0.18/min.
Can I pay yearly?
Yes: pay yearly and get 2 months free. We email the price and date 30 days before it renews, you can turn renewal off in one click, and if you change your mind within 30 days of your first yearly payment we refund it in full.
How do referrals work?
For every business you refer that becomes a paying customer, you get one month free, and they get their first month free too. Both credits are applied once their first invoice is paid.
Do I need a new phone number?
No. You keep your number and set your phone to forward unanswered calls to your Towntide number. Your phone rings first; the assistant only picks up when you don't.
Does the assistant ever call people?
No. Towntide Voice only answers incoming calls and only texts people who called or texted you. It never makes outbound AI calls and never sends cold texts.
