What are missed calls costing your electrical business?
Electricians can't safely answer the phone halfway through a panel change. Type your own numbers to see what the calls that go to voicemail may be worth.
Your numbers
The first two boxes start with round example numbers, not averages. The job value starts at a published US average (hiring an electrician costs $351 on average (US); source). Replace all three with yours.
- Missed calls a month
- 21.7
- …that would have been paid jobs
- 4.3
- Towntide Founding 25
- $109/month
That's about 14× the Founding 25 price. Less than one saved job a month would cover it.
An estimate from the numbers you type, not a prediction or a Towntide result. Some missed callers call back, and not every answered call becomes a job. Nothing you type is saved or sent; the share link only puts your numbers in the address.
How the estimate works
Missed calls per week × 52 ÷ 12 × % that would have become paid jobs × your average job value = lost revenue per month (× 12 for a year).
A month is 52 ÷ 12 ≈ 4.33 weeks. That's the whole calculation: your numbers, your estimate.
Job value default: Angi: How much does an electrician cost? (2026 data), hiring an electrician costs $351 on average (US). Checked 2026-10-08. US dollars; your own average is always better.

Questions
How is the estimate worked out?
Missed calls per week × 52 ÷ 12 × % that would have become paid jobs × your average job value = lost revenue per month (× 12 for a year). Nothing else is added: no industry multipliers, no hidden assumptions.
Where do the starting numbers come from?
On this page they're round example numbers, not averages: 5 missed calls a week, 20% becoming paid jobs and a 300 job value. Replace them with your own. The trade pages start the job value at a published US average, with the source linked.
How do I find how many calls I miss?
Your phone's recent-calls list or your carrier's call log shows missed and declined calls. Count a normal week, and leave out spam and calls you returned in time.
Will an AI receptionist win all of these jobs back?
No tool can promise that. Some callers will already have booked someone else, and not every answered call becomes a job. Answering every call gives you the chance at the work instead of losing it to voicemail.
Is anything I type saved or sent?
No. The calculator runs in your browser. The share link just puts your numbers in the address, so only people you send it to see them.
Why is the job value $351?
It's the US average cost of hiring an electrician from Angi's 2026 cost guide (linked). Panel upgrades, rewires and EV chargers are bigger jobs, so use your own average if you do a lot of those.
Do estimate calls count?
Yes, if you'd usually win some of them. Put the share that would have become paid work in the second box.
