Calls plumbers get, and what the assistant does

Treated as urgent: the caller is asked to stop running water and flushing, and you get an urgent text with the details.

Emergency rules for plumbers
The safety line is said first, then the call is flagged urgent and you get the details instantly. Optional live transfer.
- Gas smell“If you smell gas, leave the building now. Don't use light switches, lighters or appliances on the way out. Once you're outside, hang up and call your gas utility's emergency line or 911.”
- Flooding or burst pipe“If you can do it safely, turn off your main water shut-off valve, and stay away from any water near outlets or the electrical panel.”
- Sewage backup“Please stop running water and flushing toilets for now, and keep people and pets away from the wastewater.”

Good to know
- Job types and durations are yours to change: a drain clog might be 90 minutes for you and 60 for someone else.
- The assistant never quotes a price for a job. If you publish a diagnostic or call-out fee, it can read that out.
